As an Accounts Assistant, your core responsibility would be to support the team in ensuring a sound financial health of the business. You could specialize in particular areas such as the preparation of financial statements or focus on more specific areas of our company’s financial department. Ultimately, your role will provide us with the accurate and timely quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flow standing of our business.


Primary responsibilities


Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile financial transactions and statements

Prepare monthly invoices and communicate effectively with clients to arrange collection of the due receivables

Managing supplier statements, arranging valid tax invoices and payment receipts

Support month-end and year-end closing process

Preparing and maintaining fixed assets register to control assets

Assist in the submission of periodic VAT returns


Job Requirements



Well versed with the use of accounting applications, particularly MS Excel

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles

Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Accuracy and attention to detail
